Mentally diverse heterogeneous groups produce more creative, effective solutions than do similar-thinking homogeneous groups.
And, if we're not aware of the various thinking styles, our own preference, and the preferences of others, those diverse heterogeneous groups are often much harder to manage.
The NBI™, developed by Dr. Kobus Neethling—a leading expert in the field of creative thinking—reveals 4 categories of thinking preferences that generate insights for fostering greater individual as well as team effectiveness. The NBI® is based on insights from the fields of neuroscience, creativity, and psychology and its framework provides insight into left hemisphere (local processing), right hemisphere (global processing), cognitive (high road) as well as affective (low road) types of thinking. Help your team members understand their individual cognitive and emotional thinking preferences as well as the group’s overall pattern using the NBI™ Thinking Preference Assessment.
Unlock the potential of your team with "whole-brain" thinking. By working with me in either a 1:1 or team engagement, we will assess your thinking style(s) with the Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI), understand the preferences of others, and how to develop flexible, whole-brain thinking to foster greater effectiveness in communication, team building, collaboration, decision-making, leadership, and more!
You will get better results by surrounding yourself with people who think differently than you do, but it’s also going to require more effort on your part.
This is where you start!
